Thank you to all who attended the AGM yesterday. It was good to see so many of you there and your input into the Branch is greatly appreciated. It was also a great opportunity to meet the new Guild secretary, Helen, and the new 100 club organiser, Cathy. Thankyou both for coming to join us yesterday,
For those of you who were not able to come I think I can safely say you missed an enjoyable afternoon of ringing, a really lovely service with rousing “old favourites” from the hymn book, a brief meeting and a delicious afternoon tea. St Mary’s provided a very welcoming and warm venue..in fact SO warm… quite a novelty for those of us more used to risking hypothermia in some of our freezing rural churches.
I am so pleased to be able to say that Alex remains as chairman and all the officers and committee members remain in post. They have all worked so hard for the Branch and this continuity makes life easier for all and I’m very grateful to them. All committee members are listed in the contacts section of the web site if you wish to get in touch with any of them. The programme of events is almost finalised and you can find details of upcoming workshops etc in the EVENTS section of the branch web site. https://petbells.org.uk/events/
Finally a heartfelt thank you from me to all the band of willing volunteers who made organising, providing for and clearing up after this meeting seem to happen by magic!
