It’s Summer Festival Time!

The Guild’s Summer Festival is rapidly approaching – it is on Saturday 12th September this year.
So what’s happening?
Firstly the Culworth Branch have arranged to open a couple of towers for you En Route to the Competition:
2pm Open Ringing at Moreton Pinkney Ring of 6, 6cwt, Ground floor
3pm Open Ringing at Whitfield Ring of 6, 7cwt, Ground floor
Then at 4pm we all converge on Brackley for the 8-bell Branch Striking Competition, a 13cwt ring.
Each Branch can enter a band to compete for the historic Harry Wooding Memorial Trophy.
Please let Robert Wood know on events@pdg.org.uk by 5th September that you will be entering a Team.
During the Competition the Church Hall will be open serving teas.
Names for Tea please to Andrew North secretary@culworth.pdg.org.uk by 10th September, including any special dietary requirements.
At 6pm we will convene in the Church Hall for a short Business Meeting (Agenda attached)
At the end of the Meeting the Judges will announce their verdict on all the ringing, and the Trophy will be awarded to the winning Branch.
Certificates will also be presented to each Branch entering a team.
Following the Meeting (c. 7:30pm) the bells at Middleton Cheney will be available. Ring of 6, 22cwt, Stair
Please do join us for what is sure to be a great day out, even if you aren’t ringing in a team. You can still “grab” 3 towers in the area.
