Dear all, please see below from Cathy:

In addition to the ART courses that I am arranging for next year, I am pleased to announce that I am going to offer a course on conducting, prepared in conjunction with Simon.

This will take place early in the New Year and will consist of a series of short presentations delivered via Zoom, probably early on Tuesday evenings.  Each session will only last about half an hour and will start from a complete novice level and get progressively harder.  I think that the sessions will make most sense if participants can attend all of them, but hopefully each one should make sense on its own.

The proposed titles for the sessions are

1)     Calling Plain Bob

2)     Touches of Plain Bob Minor

3)     Interpreting printed touches

4)     Method construction

5)     Coursing orders

6)     Sixth-place minor methods and touches on higher numbers

7)     The role of the conductor

The materials are yet to be finalised, but if you are interested, please email me so that I can send you more details and an invite to Zoom session in due course.
