UPDATE: additional two ringers now found, no more required – thank you.

Ringing at the Cathedral, 9 June

Dear all, an early reminder that the Branch has been invited to ring for Evensong at the Cathedral on Sunday 9 June 2019, ringing from 2.30pm.  This is a good opportunity to experience ringing on higher numbers of bells and the last session in January was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

So we can assess numbers, please will you let me know if you hope to join us.

Best wishes,

Hilary

Guild Spring Meeting April 27th 2019

Just a reminder that our Branch is hosting the Guild Spring Meeting and 6 bell striking competition on Saturday April 27th.

Events start with open ringing at NASSINGTON at 2pm

At 3pm competition ringing will begin in COTTERSTOCK

From 3pm onwards afternoon tea will be available in the village hall which is a short walk away from church. There is ample parking in the field next to the church and a small amount of parking at the village hall. ( Please don’t block the narrow lane leading to the church as it is used by farm vehicles)

After the competition there will be open ringing at Cotterstock.

If you would like to enter a team please contact Simon Dixon:

sjdixon07@btinternet.com

01933 403855

Competition rules can be found at:

http://www.pdg.co.uk/competition

Please book your tea ( cost £6 ) to help us with numbers for catering. To book tea please click here

Cotterstock village are doing the teas and they have a reputation for excellence so it should be well worth while coming for tea and open ringing even if you don’t want to to enter the competition! Both Nassington and Cotterstock bells have been recently refurbished and augmented and they are both lovely places to ring.

Looking forward to seeing you soon –

Sylvia
